Posted by Picasa

Posted by Picasa

Posted by Picasa

A few words in English...

... For my little Roastbeef friends.

I am now happy to give you my first impression about this Island.

I arrived on Monday after 24 hours of Flight, 29 hours awaken... F...... hard, like steven Gerrard would say. (By the way, what happened in northern Ireland... anyway).

Tuesday, got in touch with the School (lots of japanese, they're crap in English, that is, worse than me), went to the supermarket (light=normal, small size=normal...), got lost,... nothing huge on the first day as i was pretty tired except that i did some sea kayak (the owner of my place is a big watersports fan, a friend of him will even give me a surfboard).

The day after, went to do a bike trip around a mountain which actually was a volcano, beautiful landscapes, crap bike, really tired at the end of the day.

And today... climax. Went surfing !!! In waikiki, honolulu !!!! That was amazing !! It' s not really hard to get on the board, as long as the waves are not too big. But at the end of the lesson, i did try one that was too hard for me and got in the water, upside down and all that. But really, this day was great fun and i am, for sure, gonna surf again.

Hope you are all fine, and i am waiting for news, comments, anything from you !!

Take care,

Fabien.
