hi fab,

Happy birthday for the other day. Interesting to see you have some nuages over there. A little bird told me that the sky was always clear and blue in Marseille.
We get dramatic skies in Norfolk too, like these. I've even seen a few sundogs. Check out this site I just found illustrating some of these atmospheric phenomena, including rainbows. Some beautiful pics ;-)

The link to the website doesn't seem to work, what a shame! True that the sky isn't always that blue in Marseille. Today it is, but very windy. Let's stop talking about the weather, I'll post something new soon.
By the way, the aim was not to put clouds on the blog but to show the amazing diversity of colours it can display we the sun is setting. It also makes me think of an impressionist's picture.

oh, but the weather is a very important subject, at the very least here in the UK!

so, the link would have taken you to plenty of colour- rainbows, nacreous clouds, sundogs, parhelia...
these should work:-
http://www.sundog.clara.co.uk/halo/dogphots.htm
http://www.atoptics.co.uk/

if they dont, just think of a rainbow.

Great! These links are very nice! Now I will look for the translation of nacreous, sundogs, parphelia...

"just think of a rainbow": very good British joke...
