Sandy beach. Waves are pretty big there, and breaking by the beach. This is one of the most dangerous beaches from Hawaii but people tend not to care. I swam there when I first got in O'ahu, and I won't do it again. The ocean kicked my ass real good.

Its excitig though. Sometimes we have waves like that in Devon. You can do a superman dive from the beach into a wall of water. If you position yourself well a 3-4 metre wave will pick you up and softly put you down on the beach. If you position yourself badly you eat sand (stones in Devon!). I wish I could try it now! But I'm in my office, work is waiting and its dark outside....
Ah ah. you see what I mean then. Well, it is the same in kayak.
